Returns Policy

As an Independent Artist I encourage you to make sure you really love one of my pieces before commiting to purchasing. I'm more than happy to show different pieces in-situ and close up in my Home Gallery through a video call if you are unable to visit in person.  

Right to Cancel and Return

If you're unable to view an artwork beforehand and have changed your mind about a piece you've purchased from The Eclectic Gent website, you have a statutory right to return your purchase. This right is valid from the date of placing your order until 14 days after you receive the artwork.  

Return Process
Should you wish to return an artwork and cancel your order, you must return the artwork at your own cost. Please ensure the artwork is sufficiently packaged to prevent damage during transit. Upon receiving the returned artwork, I will inspect it to confirm it is undamaged and in a resalable condition. If the artwork is found to be damaged, I reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount from your refund. It is advisable to use a courier service that provides tracking and adequate insurance against damage during transit.

Refunds
If the artwork is returned in a resalable condition, I will issue a refund minus any initial outward shipping costs incurred to send the artwork out to you free of charge. Once I acknowledge receipt of the returned goods, you will receive a full refund within 14 days, using the same payment method as your original order.

Special Orders and Bespoke Framing
For bespoke commissions or artworks that include additional options such as shadow box framing, refunds are not available unless the artwork arrives damaged. Orders for artworks made to your specifications, whether purchased in person or online, cannot be cancelled.

Antiques & Interiors Purchases
Please consider any antiques and interiors purchases from An Eclectic Gent carefully as these items need particular care when it comes to packaging and delivery. As with my artwork you have a statutory right to return your purchase any time for a refund from the date of placing your order up until 14 days after you receive the piece. This is providing it’s in resaleable condition minus any initial outward shipping costs I’ve incurred to send your purchase free of charge with a professional courier.

Consumer Rights
